Twisted Tales
"An example of that rare home-grown feature that works-it is also an example of
that even rarer animal, the anthology film with no crappy stories." CULT MOVIES
Synopsis: Far from the DARKSIDE, away from the ZONE,
TWISTED TALES is a cut above the rest.
In NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH Joey exaggerates everything-his way with women, his drinking
stamina and his fighting prowess-to such an extent that his lies spring to life and come
after him. That is, until he makes up a story big enough to kill him.
THE SHOOTING: Tommy is in trouble-there's a corpse in his apartment, a smoking gun in
his hand, and the law is shortly behind. To top it off, his psychic girlfriend
"sees" his every move and is helping the police. When he stumbles upon a fellow
murderer he has a choice to maketo kill or not to kill again.
HUNGRY LIKE A BAT? Charlie explains to a psychiatrist that he has a desperate
problem-he doesn't want to kill his new, attractive next-door neighbor (Laura McLauchlin
of ADDICTED TO MURDER), who he wants to put the bite on-which isn't easy for someone who
suffers from not one but TWO nasty nocturnal supernatural afflictions.

More reviews for TWISTED TALES
"With a self-consciousness manifest in the title of his first feature,
VAMPIRES & OTHER STEREOTYPES, and in the best Corman tradition, Lindenmuth
uses his cast from ADDICTED TO MURDER in a "twisted" parody which finds a
reluctant vampire dating a succubus. When these immortals exchange bodily
fluids the results are not pretty."
THE VAMPIRE FILM
Written by Alain Silver & James Ursini
"We think Brimstone Media Productions, LLC has a knack for picking good actors, creating
original story lines with well-rounded characters and for showing brilliant
creativity while being thrifty. TWISTED TALES is a demented winner!"
SCREAMING STONER VIDEO
"The second story (THE SHOOTING, directed by Mick McCleery) is well-acted…the
plot keeps you guessing all along, you've no idea which direction it will go
in and as a result the conclusion is unexpected and satisfying."
DARK STAR
"intriguing ideas and solid entertainment value. Yes, boys and girls,
this anthology is a lot of fun"
FLIPSIDE MOVIE EMPORIUM
"A solid cut above."
Mike Mayo, Mayo's Hidden Video
"a fun trilogy of twisted stories"
